Family workshop: Big city life - what does your town look like?

Tid: Sunday, October 29 from 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Sted: The Johannes Larsen Museum

What does your town look like?

Painter Svend Johansen was one of the young artists in the modernist or avant-garde movement.  He painted, among other things, big city life, with skyscrapers, steam boats and meetings between people. His style was colourful and imaginative.

Imagine that you’re standing high up on a balcony with a view of your town. You are amazed by the crowds of people, the speed of things, and the technology, and feel like you must paint the image with decorative shapes and fun colours.

We will paint cubist pictures with a bustling tempo during this Sunday workshop.

Practical information:

The museum provides materials and instruction.

There is no need to sign up, and participation is free once museum admission is paid. (Children under 18 are free).
