Family workshop: Draw and paint your favorite animal

Tid: Sunday, May 28, 11 AM-3 PM
Sted: The Johannes Larsen Museum

Is it longhaired, shorthaired? Does it have feathers or fur?

Johannes Larsen dedicated a great deal of his artistic energy and his life to birds. But other animals found their place in his garden, on his drawing paper and on his canvases.

Have you ever tried to draw an otter or an owl? Both animals lived in Johannes Larsen’s garden, and one otter got so tame that he got named Jokum and was allowed to sleep at the end of Johannes Larsen’s bed.

We will experience the Larsens’ animal-garden at the museum’s anniversary exhibition, “Garden by the Sea”. In the workshop, you can draw and paint using stuffed animals as models, provided by the museum.
