Open Workshop

Tid: Dec. 10, 2016 - March 26, 2017
Sted: The Johannes Larsen Museum

Paint a stone, take part in group artwork and create landscapes

Come and experience the exhibition “A Look at iceland” and make your own Iceland-inspired creations in the open workshop that is set up in the innermost room, the Garden Room, of the special exhibition building, Vingen.

This is a brand new idea at the museum, and we’ve chosen one of the loveliest rooms for it, with its view of the sea, its glorious light and its positive energy.

Paint on a stone and draw your own landscape

Here you can paint on a stone, and you can of course take it home with you to decorate your room, or you can contribute to a big group art project, which will be shown on Facebook as it grows. You can also draw and paint your own Icelandic landscape, using the same kind of art materials as Johannes Larsen used.

The workshop is open during museum hours and has all the materials you’ll need.

We look forward to seeing you!
