Winter Break: Design, draw and build your future house.
How does an architect think and work? During the winter break, the family workshop will give you a chance to try some of an architect’s most important “tools”. They are an understanding of form, space, scale, surroundings and materials. An architect also has to be good at getting ideas and at turning ideas into three-dimensional pictures.
Come and build your future house
We will get inspired by the exhibition VIEW by artist Jes Fomsgaard, by the museum’s architecture and by each other. Then we’ll design and build imaginative houses in model scale.
The workshop includes an instructor, so there is help at hand and inspiration to be had from one of the museum’s skilled educators, all of whom are trained artists.
It is free of charge to take part in the family workshop when museum tickets have been purchased. Children and young people are always free of charge.
